Aside from weddings, Splendor Mountain in Tiger, Georgia (an easy drive 100 miles north of Atlanta), in addition accommodates people holding corporate retreats for team building, family reunions, and spiritual events. Our 75-acre resort is a unique repose from your busy life in the city. Use any combination of our venues for your event.

The Ruby and Sapphire cottages and the Shadow Rock pavilion & bungalow and Sunrise event Lodge were designed by a well known architect in Buckhead. There are walking trails and Providence garden to enjoy. Banner Lake is five minutes from the cottages and ten minutes from the pavilion, walking.
By being a partner with VRBO I have met new friends and enjoyed sharing the two cottages and the unique pavilion & bungalow with new friends who come to the North Georgia mountains to meet God in Nature. The serenity is healing and transforming. The property has the name Splendor Mountain, I have seen God send people for 22 years.
The business of weddings, retreats, reunions, and lodging rental has been an enjoyable career. We are here to help guests learn why we love the communities in our neck of the woods. Clayton Georgia is a great town to visit and only 10 minutes away. Right down the road there are 9 indoor Pickle Ball courts and Rabun Arena where many events are held, such as barrel racing, dog shows, live stock and horse shows, concerts, rodeos, tractor shows, fairs and so many more. Lake Rabun and Lake Burton which are fed by the Tallulah River are nearby. Each lake's marinas have provisions waters sports items such as Pontoon boats at Lake Rabun and Pontoons, Ski Boats and Jet Skis at Anchorage Marina, LaPrade's Marina has Pontoon Boats and on site dining with a variety of restaurants on Lake Burton. For some fun water excitement you can book a River Rafting experience on the Georgia side , twenty minutes from Tiger on the Chattooga River or on the South Carolina side. Tallulah Gorge has been a wonder for many generations and is only 15 minutes from the cottages. The Chattahoochee National Forest is across the road from the property where you will be staying. You can plan a day of traveling to the many vineyards and the two distilleries and brewery and you can go by shuttle, there are two companies you can make reservations with. Your driver can pick you up and deliver you back to your cottage. If you're cooking in the cottage ask the pourer at the wine testing room about recommending what wines will go well with your menu. The Chamber of Commerce is 10 minutes away and is a state of the arts hands on experience. I can imagine you planning you next trip here with all the information you will glean from the helpful volunteers. The whole family will enjoy Goats on the Roof and the Tiger Drive In.
The cottages have three levels. In Ruby there is great room with a dining area, counter top, and two tables 1 on the screened porch the second one on deck near the charcoal grill. The living room area has a tv on the mantle, a sofa and two leather chairs by the stacked stone fire place. The kitchen is red and is fully equipped. There is a pantry where you will find a few supplies and the WiFi, and the laundry closet has detergents and an iron and ironing board. There are 10 beds and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. The loft has 2 twins, on the main floor, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two twins, the bunk room has 4 twins and a queen.

There is a panty where there are a few supplies and the WiFi, there is a laundry closet with soaps and an iron and ironing board. There are 10 beds and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. The loft has 2 twins, on the main floor there is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two twins, the bunk room has 4 twins and a full bed.
There is parking for up to 3 cars at the cottage and more parking in a lot across the lake.

Family Reunions
Family reunions are more fun outdoors. The lush green meadow provides room for your family's volleyball or horseshoe tournament. If you're not in the mood for competition, replenish your spirit in an Adirondack chair and breathe in the fresh mountain air. You may use our camping site, audio-visual equipment, and wireless Internet. If you want to stay for the night, our lodging in Ruby, Sapphire, and Shadow Rock can accommodate up to 26 people.
